Week 23 – The Power of a Master Mind

Mastermind pic 3During the MKMMA course we have all been encouraged to have a Master Mind partner.  My friend and I teamed together and decided to form a Master Mind Alliance for our business. Following the instructions on this course we developed a Business DMP.  Even though we have our separate business we wanted to be of service to each other without reciprocity.  There was no financial gain on either part but what we received was so much more.  Our confidence had risen, we were becoming more creative and our skills had greatly improved.  This worked extremely well but our working hours were longer as we were helping each other.  An amicable decision was made and we decided that we could now continue separately on our own.

In the 2 weeks that followed things just did not feel right………I felt somewhat disjointed.  I Disjointedstarted to doubt myself and things were not as free flowing as they had been previously.  My enthusiasm was a bit low, I had sleepless nights and my mind just kept churning over and over on nothing of real substance.  I was not longer spending my time productively. Something was really not right and in my sit I asked for a way to clear this fog that was going on in my head.

I received a phone call from my friend near the end of the second week and she asked me how things were going.  I told her that things were not going too well and I had also experienced a few sleepless nights.  To my surprise she said that she had experienced the same feelings that I had.  We spoke about our feelings for a while and we decided that we had such great synergy between us we would continue working together.

The following day I was listening to a recording of Success Through A Positive Mental Attitude.  There were a few things that immediately struck a chord with me that Napoleon Hill said….

“A Master Mind Alliance properly conducted stimulates each mind in the alliance with enthusiasm, personal initiative, imagination and a capacity for belief far beyond anything the individual may experience when acting alone.

To be effective a Master Mind Alliance must be active.  The mere associations of minds is not enough.  They must engage in the pursuit of a Definite Major Purpose and they must move in perfect harmony.

The Master Mind Alliance gives one full access to the spiritual powers of its associates in the alliance.  It is a master of established record that all individual success, where the individual has risen above mediocrity is attained by the application of the Master Mind principle and not by individual effort alone.”

Here was the AHA moment…..we had truly formed a Master Mind Alliance! This is extremely powerful and under no circumstances should it be underestimated. My experience this week  has really shown me how much I have been fighting against the forces of the universe.  There are some bits of cement that has chipped away but I can still see that I am still holding onto some of my  old blueprint.  I need to make a conscious effort and give up control as it serves me no purpose.  I have to  just relax, have trust and faith in all the material we have learnt on this course and listen to the voice in my heart.  The universe knows exactly what it is doing….!

Letting go

Truly awesome! I don’t know what else to say. Your statement ” I have to just relax, have trust and faith” really blew me away. It was indeed a reminder to me to do likewise. Thanks so much for sharing.
