Week 5 – Master Key Experience: Forming a New Reality

Whilst working on my Movie Trailer which is a synopsis of my autobiography (DMP), It has taken about 10 rewrites…….getting it refined and to fit on a 3×5 index card.  Initially I tried writing smaller……LOL……can you imagine, trying to squeeze about 400 words onto a 3×5 card!! Off course that did not work.  Everything seemed important to me and I wanted to add it all, I did not want to miss out on anything.  Remember, this was a summary of my DMP and the information has to be clear and concise! This is my new blueprint is going to be taken into my subconscious. So, I included what I want, the date I want it and how I feel once achieved.  At the end of each emotion on my movie trailer, I have linked a colour and shape of my PPN.  By doing what seems to be child’s play, the results have been such a big shift.  For instance, previously reading my DMP I just saw a blue rectangle and thought of Liberty……….yeah that what was good, but it ended there.

I recall the lesson we had a couple of weeks ago the importance of having the correct language in our DMP.  Haanel backs this up by stating that “accurracy in building words and sentences is the highest form of architecture in civilization and is a passport to success. Words are thoughts and are therefore an invisible and invincible power which will finally objectify themselves in the form they are given.”  Adding the colour and shape after every emotion, I now see the colour blue or rectangle and FEEL THRILLED, FREE and ON TOP of the WORLD, this is Liberty for me! It is no longer a shape or colour, it now has significant meaning… has life!!

A great exercise was added this week, and that was not to give opinions.  Yes, you heard me right…..if someone does not say “what is your opinion” or if you are an expert in that field.  If you are neither, then keep your mouth shut!!!


What the purpose of this??

We are retraining our brain!  We can not create a new blueprint from our old thinking, and that is exactly what opinions are.  They come from our associative memory, things that we hear from our experiences and other people.  By keeping our pie hole shut we become detached from our old blueprint and start living in the frontal lobe.  This is where we have a rich flow of ideas, where you feel rich and abundant.  You are no longer bound to the cement.  What a great way to be the watchman at the gate and just focus on the things that we do want, our DMP.

I done this exercise last year and I do not remember having this many resets at all.  However, being the observer, what I have noticed is that there were not so many of what I would call obstacles in my way last year so I was able to…….. well keep my opinions to myself…lol

I have told the courier company how to run their business, and had an opinion to give to everyone I had a conversation with. The most challenging opinions seemed to be when speaking with my children. I had to question so many times whether I was giving an opinion or not……….after all I’m sure I can be classed as an expert in this field???? I am a parent after all.  Most of my opinions have been based on how I felt at the time, it has all come from ego……does this fit into my future life, or my plans? Absolutely not! We are continuing with this exercise again next week, which I expect better results.

Week 4 – Master Key Experience: It’s all About the Peptides!!

Every thought we think produces emotional chemicals called neuropeptides.  They are molecules of emotion that cascade through our entire body in less than a second affecting every cell.

This is all driven by our emotional state.  If you’re angry on a daily basis, then more neuropeptides will be created for anger. What’s the outcome?  You find that you unconsciously put yourself in positions that will fuel this anger….you need your fix…. you are now addicted to anger!

Every thought brings into action certain physical tissue, parts of the brain, the nerve or muscle.  This produces an actual physical change in the construction of the tissue.  Therefore, it is only necessary to have a certain number of thoughts on a given subject in order to bring about a complete change in the physical organisation of a man (Haanel)

In the readings of Og, only a habit can subdue another habit.  The only way to create new peptides is to form new ones, to create a new habit.  Each week we have been using our chore cards to help us with this process.  By writing down something small that we know we can control.  For instance, cleaning out the car.  Each week we  have gradually increased our efforts by adding more things to the chore card.  The pay off…….we gain control of our THOUGHTS and by extension, ourselves.

I can not believe how much I have enjoyed this process. The tiny little things like cleaning out a cupboard that I always meant to do but never had the time.  From having this on my chore card and knowing that what is written has to be completed, it has made a tremendous difference…….I actually enjoyed doing it!

Week 3 – Master Key Experience: The power of words

kids-enjoy-playing-with-ball-togetherAt my daughter’s ballet lesson the other day, I got talking with another mum, whilst waiting for the girls to finish their lesson.  She mentioned that her daughter was not having a great time at school. A group of girls were segregating her from the group. One of the girls kept calling her stupid.  I was shocked by this, we are talking about 5 year olds.  This had affected this little girl so much.  If she accidentally dropped something on the floor and her mum asked what happened, she would say it’s because she is stupid and burst into tears. I could see the pain in this mothers eyes, my heart sank just sank.

Children are so innocent and pick up on the things they hear other people say or do.  We as parents can only do so much to safe guard them from negativity but they hear and see things from their peers, TV and our environment.  This is how the cement starts to set in.  Already the Law of Growth was taking form.  This lie had seeped into this little girls subconscious mind, she believed what was being said.

It is so empowering to know what is truth. Haanel states that  It is often true that conditions of fear, worry, poverty, disease, inharmony and evils of all kinds dominate us by reason of false suggestions accepted by the unguarded subconscious mind. All this the trained conscious mind can entirely prevent by its vigilant protective action. It may properly be called “the watchman at the gate” of the great subconscious domain”.  This even happens with 5 year olds..!

The beauty of everything that I have learnt is that the conscious mind it the watchman at the gate. By feeding our mind with what is truth the conscious mind can override the subconscious through the use of auto- suggestion.  The conscious mind has no defence against our own voice.  Using the Law of Substitution this little girl can erase these negative thoughts by replacing it with a pleasant thought.  My mind flashed back to a film that I had seen and something that I do with my daughter.  I shared it with this mum.  It was to write the words I AM Kind, I AM Smart, I AM Important on a card so this little angel can read it every day.  

This week I have noticed that I have been very much the observer of my thoughts, being the watchman at the gate..!

Week 2 – Master Key Experience: Finding My Way

I was drawn to revisit my DMP this week. After reading it a few times throughout the week it just did not feel complete, something was just off..!!  I have to admit, it has taken me so many drafts to get it to this point.  It dawned on me that what I had in my DMP was just a string of words.  There was no real feeling or life and it definitely was not clear as to what I want. I put pen to paper this week and decided to work on it again.  The amazing thing happened, my hand just started to write and before I knew it I had rewritten my DMP. This now feels like me..!! I have read my new DMP out loud 3 times a day this week with enthusiasm, and the words of Og Mandino stick in my mind:-

“As I repeat these words they will soon become part of my active mind but more importantly they will seep into my other mind, that mysterious source, which never sleeps, which creates my dreams and often makes me act in ways I do not comprehend.” 

You see the subconscious mind has no defence against our own voice. By reading my DMP in this way for about 28 days, my mind will be focused on what I want.  It will start to override my Old Blueprint and manifest my DMP.

Week 1 – Master Key Experience: Brand New Beginnings..!

MindThe day has finally arrived and I’m back on the MKMMA course, filled with so much excitement and ready to go…!  It’s amazing how much I have missed it.  Starting again at the beginning it feels like a breath of fresh air.  Reading through the first lesson in the Masterkey, and there is just no getting away from it…..”We are what we think.”

The mind is the most powerful tool that we have and yet so many of us do not know the extent of how powerful we are.   So many times we come up with the excuses that we do not have the time, which is all a load of crap.  Every one of us has the same amount of time it is just making a choice about what we do with it.  The bottom line is, if anything is to change in our lives then we have to make that change. This year I have made the commitment to go even deeper with this course and keep growing.  To have a positive impact in my life and the world, then I must make the time to work on myself starting with my mind…!


And how am I going to do this??


My mornings start on a positive note by:-

  • Reading The Greatest Salesman Scroll 1 in silence, feeding my mind and forming good Og Mandinohabits.
  • Reading my Blue Print Builder out LOUD with feeling. It’s all about tilling the soil, getting it prepared for my new blueprint.
  • Reading my Definite Major Purpose out LOUD, with passion……who cares if anyone hears me!!  Wow, what a difference repetition makes.   When I started this last year I was so conscious of who would hear me.


My Afternoons:-

  • Read The Greatest Salesman Scroll 1 in silence, and loving every minute of it.
  • If I am travelling, listening to MasterKeys audio. It just keeps all the negative stuff out.


MeditationMy Evenings can sometimes be a bit of a challenge.  I start to feel tired, or there is something I want to watch on TV, which of course is just a BIG distraction.  But I have resisted and make the time in the last hour before bed to do the following:-

  • Read my Blue Print Builder out LOUD with feeling. Once I start reading, it’s amazing how the tiredness goes.
  • Read my Definite Major Purpose out LOUD, with passion.
  • Read The Greatest Salesman  Scroll 1 out LOUD.
  • MasterKeys chapter 1.  I like to read this out loud to get full understanding.
  • Then before I go to sleep SIT for 20 minutes in silence. I just LOVE this…. It brings such a great feeling of peace and tranquillity to end the day, and I get a good nights sleep.


Who would have thought that I could fit all this in around my normal day!!
